Hello

Hi, I’m Rhiannon, founder of Arianwen Jewellery, a brand rooted in uniquely personal, heartfelt jewellery handmade in solid fine silver and set with vibrant gemstones. I love creating sentiment-led designs that honour your identity and connection to Wales.

Arianwen Jewellery was born during one of the most challenging times of my life. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a business I am so deeply proud of.

Before jewellery, my path looked very different. I followed the traditional route, earning a First-Class degree in Software Engineering and building a stable, well-paid career in web development within a male-dominated industry. I loved the logic, the structure and the satisfaction of creating something from nothing. I had done everything “right” and built what I believed would be my long-term future.

Then I became a mum.

Motherhood shifted everything. Rising childcare costs and the emotional weight of missing precious milestones forced me to re-evaluate what success meant to me. After the birth of my second child, Arianwen, I experienced postnatal depression and found myself feeling completely lost. Maternity leave became a time of deep reflection and I felt a need to reconnect with the creative part of myself I had set aside for years.

Three months into maternity leave, I starting building Arianwen Jewellery.

What started as a personal outlet quickly became something more. As my skills grew, so did the vision. I realised the flexibility I needed as a mother would not be given, I would have to build it. While I had no formal business experience, I was determined to learn.

Naming the brand after my daughter felt symbolic. Arianwen, meaning “white silver” in Welsh, unknowingly gave me both the name and the determination to begin. My children remain my driving force. Building this business has allowed me to be present in their early years while creating something deeply purposeful.

In under 18 months, Arianwen Jewellery has grown beyond anything I imagined. Highlights so far include being featured by Rochelle Humes during her Ladies Who Launch live show and appearing on the cover of Cardiff Life Magazine’s International Women’s Day issue.

I am incredibly proud of how far I've come and I can't wait to see what comes next.
