How I Bring Personalised Designs to Life

One of the things I love most about working with silver clay is how personal every piece can be. No two designs are ever quite the same, because each one starts with you. From a few words that mean a lot to you, to a gemstone that marks a special moment, here’s how your idea becomes a finished piece of jewellery.

Step 1: Sharing Your Idea

Most designs begin right on the product page. When placing your order, you can fill out the personalised fields, such as:

  • Front text
  • Back text
  • Gemstone choice

These details give me everything I need to start bringing your piece to life.

If you already know you want something a little different, you’re very welcome to reach out before ordering. I specialise in personalised jewellery, so custom ideas are always encouraged.

Rwy’n siarad Cymraeg hefyd — if you’d prefer to chat in Welsh, just let me know.

Step 2: Custom Designs & Inspiration

If you’re looking for a fully custom design, I’d love to hear about it. Let me know:

  • Which of my existing designs you have your eye on
  • What you’d like to change or personalise

You can also send inspiration photos, whether that’s something completely different, a texture you love, or a general vibe you’re drawn to. These help me understand your vision, even if you’re not quite sure how to describe it yet.

Have a stamp, charm, or meaningful item you’d like impressed into the silver clay? That’s often possible too, and it’s a beautiful way to make a piece truly one of a kind.

Step 3: Creating Your Jewellery

Once the design is finalised, I begin handcrafting your jewellery using silver clay. This is where your ideas start to take physical form by carefully shaping, refining, firing, and finishing each piece (I’ve written a blog post all about working with silver clay if you’d like to learn more).

Because every item is made by hand and made to order, the creation process can take up to 10 working days. This time allows me to focus on the details and ensure your jewellery is finished to a high standard.

Step 4: A Piece Made Just for You

The final result is a piece of jewellery that tells your story, whether it’s a name, a date, a word in Welsh, or a design that holds special meaning. My goal is always to create something personal, lasting, and full of heart.

Thank you for trusting me with your ideas. I can’t wait to bring them to life.

Ready to Create Something Personal?

If you have an idea in mind (big or small) I’d love to hear it! Explore the personalised options on the product pages or get in touch to chat about a custom design. Together, we can create a piece that’s truly yours.
